FAQs

Cost / Value

“The value of this trip cannot be matched. Most African photo safaris of this caliber look good initially but run THOUSANDS of dollars higher by the time you calculate all add-ons, fees, hidden costs, and activities. Our flat fee covers practically your entire experience because David wants every person, couple, or family to have the joy he experienced the first time he saw the beauty of God’s creation in Africa.”

Travel Requirements

“No shots, extra paperwork, visas, or vaccinations are required for entry to South Africa. Just bring your passport. (Above typically applies to U.S. residents in general, but always check your specific case to make sure there are no changes before traveling). The country and specific area where we spend the bulk of the trip is one of the safest, most controlled areas to travel in Africa.”

Weather / Pests

“David prefers to make this trip right at the turn of late winter and early spring in Africa (around the month of August). Remember, this happens 6 months offset from our early spring in America, because we are traveling to the Southern Hemisphere. In his many years of past experience leading African safaris, this allows us to avoid snakes and most insects.”

Lodging

“For 5 nights we will sleep in chalets in the middle of a private massive reserve. Each cabin with private porches and stone bathrooms, but with an authentic African touch of canvas sidings and windows that can be unzipped and rolled in the style of the most famous safari explorers. In the afternoon you might experience zebras walking through the camp or the sound of weaver birds chirping as they dance from tree to tree. A controlled, but authentic adventure.”
