Some scientists would tell us that 14 billion years ago, an event took place that created the universe from nothing. This explosion has no place in Biblical history, yet some Christians have come to believe in current science more than the Word of God.
Even so, the Bible actually refers to the big bang.
Second Peter tells us that: “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise….not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise…”
Now there’s your big bang!
Peter goes on to tell us that: “…the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” He concludes by giving us something to look forward to: “…we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
Yes, there is a big bang referenced in the Bible, but not the one presented by evolutionists.
They tell us that what they present is science. I would agree… Science FICTION
What we see around us reveals order that no big bang could ever have achieved.
