Some Christians have entertained the possibility of evolution being compatible with a Biblical view. In other words, evolution – by way of God.
Jesus Christ, Yeshua of Nazareth, our Messiah, stated in the New Testament book of John: “Had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?” John 5:46-47
Theistic evolution is really compromised creation, and, while not being exhaustive in detail, the inspired historical account of creation as recorded by Moses in the Bible leaves little room for evolutionary interpretation.
Why should we even try? New discoveries in modern science are all pointing to a recent creation. The scores of trained scientists, doctors, and researchers that we interview each week all share astounding facts that proclaim God’s glory from a literal 7 day creation.
While, in the past, laymen without resources may have been tempted by theories of theistic evolution, in this age of information, it is easy to research the amazing proofs of God’s creation.
We should have listened to the words of our Savior long ago… He told us that the words of Genesis can be trusted… He should know – He IS the Creator.
