Is the Big Bang Biblical?

A question on many Christians minds today is: Is the Big Bang Biblical?

Well, let’s look at the big bang theory, and see how it stands up to the historical record of creation in the Bible.

The Bible states that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth from void, or nothing.
Yet some astronomers would have us believe that a random explosion took place which formed the stars and planets.
The Bible makes it plain that the universe was formed within a literal week of evenings and mornings, yet the big bang tells us that the universe took billions and billions of years to form.
The Bible says that God formed the material that became the universe, yet the big bang model disagrees, but has no explanation of how the matter got there in the first place.
The Bible indicates that God is the founder of the laws, such as gravity, yet the big bang model doesn’t indicate how the laws came into existence, or how they work so perfectly, and calculably.
The Bible says that stars were formed on day four, yet the big bang states that matter was coalesced constantly into new stars over millions of years.
The Bible says that earth came first… yet the evolutionists state that earth was one of the last things to be formed.
The Bible describes a careful planned creation, while evolution indicates a chaotic, chance lottery drawing that leaves us standing here today as little more than a smarter primate.
The Bible clearly states that man was put in charge of all the animals, yet evolutionists teach us that we ARE animals.
The big bang theory is a God-less theory. Even if twisted to include a sort of “God-directed big bang”, it clearly must call for the dismissal of massive portions of the literal Holy Bible.

That is not a direction anyone should ever purposely go. It is amazing there are people so narrow-minded to believe that this universe isn’t created with purpose.

Narrow-minded enough to discount the possibility of creation by God, but at the same time, believe in something as far-fetched as a chance explosion 14 billion years ago creating the immense and beautiful universe that we see every time we open our eyes.
