Primordial Soup – David Rives

Often, those who believe in the Bible are accused of being narrow-minded. Some say they only repeat outdated writings from ignorant ancients. But those who put their faith in evolution could be described in much the same way…

The Greek philosopher Anaximenes of Miletus lived in the 6th century BC. He was one of the first to suggest a primordial soup as the origin of life.

Anaxagoras came shortly after, and built upon that theory, claiming that life sprang from warm, moist clay, producing animals and man.

The idea that life originated long ago from a primordial blend of elementally-rich soil is not an advanced new theory, thought up by brilliant scientists after careful study.
On the contrary, it is rehashed, narrow-minded philosophy, initiated by those who thought that the earth was a flat table-like structure floating on water.

These theories could not be any farther from systematic, observable science.

Primordial soup millions of years ago? Perhaps I AM being closed-minded, but I find THAT creation story a little hard to swallow…

I’m David Rives…
