What is the Big Bang?

The Big Bang theory is a popular cosmological theory that attempts to explain the creation of the Universe through chance.

The Big Bang states that around 14 billion years ago, all of the matter in the Universe was compacted into a very small, very dense point

This matter suddenly exploded, and sent debris in all directions, and over the next few billion years, that matter gathered together and not only created the universe, but with it, space and time.

In consideration of the Big Bang Theory, the Harvard-Smithsonian center for astrophysics asks the following questions: “What powered the big bang? And where did all the stuff in the universe come from in the first place?” Even NASA has it’s doubts, stating: “Although the big bang theory is widely accepted, it probably will never be proved, consequentially, leaving a number of tough, unanswered questions.”

Should we put blind trust in speculative science or in the historical record found in the Bible? Each of us has a choice to make.
