What Would Jesus Believe?

Recently an article appeared on CNN entitled: “Jesus would believe in evolution and so should you”

Well, perhaps the author of that article failed to read the words of Jesus when He said: “From the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.”

The Dr. who wrote the piece also said:
“There is much evidence for evolution. The most compelling comes from the study of genes.”

These genes are associated with our DNA. A cursory examination of DNA reveals that not only is it so incredibly complex, but the chances of getting DNA even close to what we find in most life through chance, is truly impossible – even given the evolutionary time frame of millions of years.

Look at what the article states as fact:
“We now know that the human race began millions of years ago in Africa – not thousands of years ago in the Middle East, as the story in Genesis suggests.”

This author apparently doesn’t even know that the Biblical account does not tell us that life began in the Middle East. He is so enamored with the evolutionary science, and the twisted facts behind it, that he doesn’t even know what the Bible really says.

According to the Gallup Poll that the author cites in his article, more people still believe that God created humans a relatively short time ago (what we read in the Bible), than do people that believe that God used evolution to form us from nothing.

Yes, some people still believe that God created the heaven and the Earth in six days – including us as complete beings.

“The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written… The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.”
