Good scientific theories make many specific accurate predictions, and the data should be observable and repeatable.
That does not describe the common atheistic view of the Big Bang. In fact, far from it.
The big bang is science fiction, and does NOT address the question of origin. It only proposes a theory attempting to explain the apparent expansion of the Universe, and the possible development of the cosmos.
Expansion could be predicted LONG before modern times, by examining Biblical texts. Isaiah chapter 40 says that God stretched out the heavens.
The development of the universe is clearly described in the book of Genesis. It states that God formed the earth, the stars, and the rest of the heavens.
What’s more, the scriptural account of creation DOES address the question of origin. We are told clearly that ALL THINGS, all of the matter in the Universe, was created, formed, and carefully designed by an infinite Designer.
Should science take a second look at the cosmos from a Biblical perspective? Galileo, Newton, and Kepler did, and unlike the faltering theories of evolution, their science stands strong to this day.
