There are two quite opposite views prevalent in America’s society. One proposes that the God of the Bible created the Universe as written in the book of Genesis, while the other would trust that current evolutionary science is well founded, and that the Universe arose by chance, billions of years ago.
While there are other origin views, these two represent the majority of America.
While faith in the accuracy of the Bible is to be expected of Christians, we could also easily look at factual data that supports our views-and, we could study the lack of evidence held by the opposing view.
Throughout history, those who challenged the accepted scientific thought were, in many cases, rewarded with new discoveries.
At the onset of such endeavors, scientists are usually ridiculed by their peers, and only through time and enough hard empirical evidence, is a theory brought into acceptance. And why not? Many times it pays to be cautious.
But perhaps we should have been MORE cautious of the theory of Darwinian Evolution, considering the fact that most of Darwin’s suppositions regarding long-term evolution are not observable or repeatable.
Our challenge of the currently accepted theories has a major advantage: We have a historical record documenting the origin of the Universe, a first-hand account by the Creator Himself.
